On the morning of October 6, 2024, around 7 AM, I (Sanju) and Mahi ma’am embarked on our journey to Pangot. Mahi’s passion for travel and my excitement for the trip always make our adventures special.
As usual, Mahi planned the whole trip, and my role was to explore the best places along the way and capture great photos.
On the way, we stopped at Shiva Dhaba for a delicious breakfast. The traditional dishes and refreshing atmosphere made our morning memorable.
Mahi loves trying new food, and she really enjoyed the local cuisine here.

After breakfast, we continued our journey, passing through Rampur and reaching Kaladhungi around 1 PM. We enjoyed a tasty lunch there and resumed our trip. Finally, at around 3 PM, we arrived in Pangot.
In Pangot, we decided to stay at Chiraiya Cottage. Surrounded by lush greenery and located in the middle of the jungle, this cottage was a peaceful retreat.
With a rent of just 2000 rupees per day, the views were breathtaking and instantly relieved us of our travel fatigue. Mahi, being a photography enthusiast, captured some fantastic shots of the natural beauty.
The next morning, we set out for bird watching. Pangot is famous for its birds, and we spotted several rare species. Mahi, with her knowledge of birds, shared interesting facts, making the experience even more enjoyable.
After bird watching, we planned a trek to Brahmasthali Temple, a 3-kilometer trail through the dense forests. Along the way, we encountered stunning views that filled us with a sense of calm and adventure.

Once we reached the temple, we took plenty of pictures and soaked in the spiritual vibes. Mahi, who loves trekking, showed her enthusiasm throughout the hike.
After finishing the trek, we left Pangot in the afternoon and headed back home to Noida. On the way, we stopped again at Shiva Dhaba for dinner and reached home safely by 9 PM.
The trip with Mahi was not only filled with natural beauty but also with laughter, new discoveries, and memorable moments together.
