Sarita Ji was born in a middle-class family in Muzaffarpur, Bihar. She completed her education up to a PhD. In 2010, she got married to a civil engineer from Sitamarhi district. After marriage, Sarita happily settled in Noida with her husband.
However, after a few years, her husband lost his job for some reason. At that point, she thought that she also needed to do something. Initially, she considered building a career in the field of education, but then she decided to start doing makeup until she could find a job. With this thought, she learned basic makeup skills from a salon and began working from home.
One day, she felt that if she was going to do this work, she wanted to become a professional at it. That’s when she decided to start a new phase of her career. Let’s find out what challenges she faced when she began her journey.

Sarita Ji: When I used to do haircuts and facials at home, some clients also wanted makeup, and I had to hire someone from outside for it. One day, I thought, “Why should I pay someone else when I can learn makeup myself?” I told this to my husband, and he said, “If you enjoy this work, become a professional in it.”
After that, I started looking for a makeup academy. I found Meribindiya International Academy on Google. At that time, they were offering a 50% discount, so I decided to grab the opportunity. The next morning, I went to the academy, took admission, and my course started in a few days. That’s when my life started to change.

Sarita Ji: Sarita Ji says that when she started her makeup course, her husband got a job in Mumbai, and she stayed in Noida with their child. Her child was small and going to school, and there was no one else at home, which made things very difficult. But I had decided that no matter what, I would finish the course.
While doing the course, I would first drop my child at school, then go to the academy. Before school finished, I would come back from the academy, pick up my child, return home, and do all the housework. On top of that, I was also running my home-based salon. It was very challenging, but when you are passionate about something, you can face any difficulty.
I completed my course despite all these challenges. Mahi Madam, the owner of Meribindiya International Academy, helped me a lot. When I couldn’t pay the fees on time, she told me, “Pay whenever you can, but don’t leave the course.” The teachers were also very supportive and explained everything patiently whenever I didn’t understand.

Sarita Ji: After finishing my course and getting good feedback from clients, I felt that I should grow my small beauty setup. So, I opened a salon at my home, and now it gives me a good monthly income.
Sarita says that when she did makeup according to each client’s skin type, people loved the results. They came back again for more makeup and also told others about her salon.
Slowly, people from different societies started knowing about her work, and now clients come from faraway places to get their makeup done by her.
