Preeti was born and raised in a small town called Tundla, in Firozabad district, Uttar Pradesh. Coming from a middle-class family, she completed her schooling and graduation from Tundla itself. Right after graduation, in 2011, she got married to a Loco Pilot, and soon shifted to Punjab with her husband.
Today her husband is posted in Noida. In the early years of marriage, Preeti was fully involved in her family responsibilities. She hadn’t planned anything for her career. But whenever her younger child left for school, she used to wonder .
Preeti started by teaching school kids at home, but the income was very low. One day she shared this with her friend, who suggested her to start Yoga training. At first Preeti wasn’t confident. So she joined a yoga class herself, learned it properly, and after a few months started her own classes at home.
Only two women joined her initially, and even they were unsure whether yoga would work for them. But within a month their weight started reducing — and word began to spread. Soon her class grew from 2 students to more than 50.
This boosted Preeti confidence and her journey had just begun. But life had different plans. Her husband got transferred to Noida, and they had to shut down the entire yoga setup. Even after restarting in Noida, she barely got 1–5 students. After trying for months, she finally decided to shut down the yoga classes completely.

One day, a close friend of her husband (named Sanju) visited their home. He asked why yoga classes were discontinued. After hearing everything, he suggested: “Why don’t you try the Makeup industry? It’s booming right now. You can earn well from home too.” Preeti instantly connected with the idea. At that moment, she decided: “Yes, this is what I want to do!” And that’s where her real journey began.
In early 2023, Preeti enrolled in Basic Makeup Course at Meribindiya International Academy. At first, everything felt new and difficult. But the trainers were extremely supportive — they repeated lessons until she understood them clearly. After completing her basic makeup course, she pursued: Hair Course , Skin Course ,Multiple beauty-related courses She trained continuously for almost a year.
Initially she planned to work in a big salon, but her kids were small, so she decided not to take a job. Instead, she converted a small room in her home into a mini skincare studio. In just a few days, her clients started loving her work. Soon she began taking makeup bookings as well. Her first bridal makeover was unforgettable.
The bride wasn’t convinced initially, but when the full look was completed, she was extremely happy — and she referred Preeti to more people. Slowly, her entire society got to know about her. And today, Preeti’s parlour stays fully packed with clients. People even come from far-off places to get her makeup, hair, and skin services.
Preeti son was only 2 years old when she started the course. Leaving such a small child behind was extremely difficult. Every day she dropped him at daycare, attended her classes, and then came back to pick him up.Managing: A toddler Her elder son’s school, Household work, Makeup courses …all at the same time was very challenging. But she never gave up — and that’s what made her unstoppable.

Preeti shares her marketing strategy First, she informed all the residents in her society, Shared her parlour details in society WhatsApp groups, Used social media to promote her work ,But the biggest marketing came from her clients.
Whoever took her services — makeup, skin treatment, or hair — loved her work and recommended her to more people. She has also worked with well-known faces like: TV star Munira Kudrati , Model Sanna Suri , Seeing these results, more clients started trusting her.
Initially, the family thought she might do “okay. But seeing her talent, dedication, and the results she delivers — everyone is extremely proud of her. When relatives see her work with famous models, they admire her achievements. Preeti says “Their appreciation gives me more confidence and happiness.

For now, Preeti is happily operating from her home parlor — “Makeup Magix Parlour”. Once her children grow older, she plans to Open a large, fully equipped professional salon , Expand it into multiple branches across different locations . She dreams big — and she is working step by step to make those dreams come true .
