The makeup industry is considered one of the most glamorous fields today. Every young person dreams of entering this industry, building their own identity, and earning well. Manju also had the same dream. She had a deep love for beauty, but life pushed her dream far away. She got married and began trying to settle into her married life, putting her own dreams aside.
For a few years, her life went smoothly, but suddenly everything changed, and that time became extremely painful for her. Manju’s husband started abusing her physically, and she was constantly stressed and unhappy. She couldn’t do anything about it and silently tolerated the domestic violence for the sake of her children.
But one day, Manju realized that she didn’t have to live in fear anymore. She decided to stand up against the abuse and fight for herself. This strong decision completely changed her life.

Nail Artist Manju ji was born in a middle-class family in Mainpuri, Uttar Pradesh. her father was a doctor by profession, and his job was in Lalitpur, so Manjuji graduated from Lalitpur. She got married in 2009 through a love marriage.
For a few years, their marriage went well, and they also had a child. After that, her life completely changed She started facing domestic violence every day. She became so upset that she even tried to end her life, but luckily she survived.
After this, her family supported and guided her, and her life slowly started to get better. From then on, Manju decided to do something for herself and build her own world. She then started working in small salons in Noida.
Manju Ji shared that when she was working in a small salon, she only had basic knowledge of makeup and was doing work based on that. However, she aspired to work professionally and improve her skills. Since childhood, she had a passion for nail art and always wanted to become a nail artist.
One day, while searching on Google for professional courses, Meribindiya International Academy appeared at the top of the search results.
She discussed the course with her family at home, and they agreed to let her pursue the diploma course. To pay for it, Manju Ji took financial help from her brother and enrolled in the diploma program. Her husband did not want her to do anything in life, so he did not help her at all.
Manju shared that she faced a lot of difficulties during the course. Her husband stayed with her but did not offer any help. She had three children—two stayed with her, and one stayed with her mother.
She had to manage sending her children to school, going to the academy herself, picking up the children from school afterward, and doing a part-time salon job—all at the same time.
Balancing all of this was very difficult. But as they say, to achieve something, you have to sacrifice something, and keeping this in mind, Manju managed everything.
She also mentioned that whenever she felt overwhelmed, she would speak with the academy owner, Mahi Ma’am. Those conversations gave her immense motivation and courage to keep going.
While pursuing the Nail Artist diploma course, Manju gradually started building a strong client base. People admired her work and frequently praised her skills, which further boosted her confidence and fueled her passion for nail art.

Manju Ji shared that when she was working at another salon, she often felt the desire to open her own salon. To make this dream a reality, she began saving a portion of her salary and gradually started collecting the essentials needed for a salon.
After some time, she discussed her plan with her brother, and he supported her wholeheartedly. Today, Manju Ji proudly runs her own salon, which she has named Namo Nail Salon. It stands as a symbol of her hard work, dedication, and the courage it took to follow her dreams.

She said that when she used to stay at home and wasn’t doing anything, people would often tell her that she would never achieve anything in life. Even her husband used to say that she was not capable of doing any work.
But today, those same relatives and neighbours look at her work and her salon and praise her. They say that everyone should do something for themselves. Some even say that they want their daughters or daughters-in-law to stand on their own feet so that they never have to depend on anyone.
Now, seeing her work and her salon, her mother, brother, and sister feel very proud and happy—and their happiness makes her feel proud of herself too.
