Preeti, a student of Meribindiya International Academy, had the same dream. Since childhood, Preeti wanted to work in the makeup world. She started with a small boutique, and today she is a well-known name.

Makeup artist Preeti was born in a middle-class family in Mayur Vihar Phase 3. She did her schooling in Mayur Vihar and graduated from Delhi University. Since 7th grade, she was learning and doing boutique work along with her studies.
She started by helping her family and later began doing boutique work for people in her area. Her work became very popular, but she didn’t want to do only boutique work. Preeti always dreamed of becoming a makeup artist, and she was determined to make her dream come true.
While running her boutique,Preeti also started learning makeup in 2008 from a small salon and used to do makeup for people in her neighborhood. But she didn’t stop there — she wanted to become a professional makeup artist while continuing her work.
From 2008 to 2014, she managed a small makeup setup inside her boutique shop and did makeup for her clients there. Later, in 2014, she got married to a manager from Delhi. After her marriage, Preeti never lost focus on her career; in fact, her determination grew even stronger because her husband and family were very supportive of her career.
Preeti shared her wish to become a professional makeup artist with her husband, and he fully supported her. He suggested, “Find a professional course and join it.” But some issues came up, so she couldn’t start the course at that time.
She kept doing her boutique work and sometimes did makeup jobs. A few years later, health problems forced her to stop her boutique work. She spent that time taking care of her family, children, and health, but deep down, she still wanted to do something bigger.

After the lockdown in 2020, Preeti restarted her boutique business and also shifted from Delhi to Noida. Her boutique was doing well, but she had always dreamed of becoming a professional makeup artist.
She had learned basic makeup at a parlor, but back then, there was little information about formal makeup courses, and such courses were not common. Later, when she searched online for makeup courses, Meribindiya International Academy came up at the top of Google search results.
Although she couldn’t join the course due to financial constraints, she gathered all the information about the academy to plan for her future. After some time, Preeti discussed her dream with her husband. Seeing her dedication, he encouraged her, saying, “You go ahead and do the course, we will handle the rest.”
The very next day, Preeti went to the academy with her husband and completed the admission process. Even though they were still facing financial difficulties, her husband, inspired by her passion, took a loan so she could complete the course.
It is often said that if you truly want something, you must achieve it—and that was exactly Preeti’s approach. While pursuing the makeup course, she also continued managing her boutique work, balancing both her passion and responsibilities.

Preeti shared that managing the makeup course along with her parlor work, boutique, and taking care of her home and children was very challenging. She faced many difficulties during this time, but her family was extremely supportive, which helped her overcome these obstacles and complete the course.
She explained that whenever she was late returning from the academy, her mother or sister would pick up her son from school, ensuring everything at home ran smoothly. Her sister, in particular, played a significant role in supporting her throughout this journey.
After finishing the course, Preeti’s clients were extremely satisfied and impressed with her makeup skills, which gave her a lot of confidence and motivation to continue her work.

Preeti shared that after completing her makeup course, there was a bridal competition. She filled out the form, but she didn’t have money for a model. Her sister then offered to be her model. Preeti did the bridal makeup on her sister, and the result was so impressive that it completely changed her luck.
She went on to win third place in the competition. Considering that many top and experienced makeup artists were also participating, her achievement was remarkable.
After winning the award, people started noticing her talent, which gave a huge boost to her salon and makeup business. Today, she is recognized and respected as a professional makeup artist, and her journey continues to inspire many.
